Ride Control Friction Shoe Retention Pin
Pins are used to retain bolster friction shoes after they have been compressed into the bolster. They are manufactured from hardened tool steel to resist gouging and nicking of the pin surface.
Ergonomic and Safety Advantages:
Compress the friction shoes using an approved compression fixture.
After compression, insert the pin into access hole in the front of the bolster.
Using an approved compression fixture, compress the friction shoe for spring removal.
When spring has reached compression, remove pin.
