1. The rack consists of an upper and lower tier. Longer shank couplers should be placed on the lower tier. Coupler guides are installed to provide an insertion reference and establish equal coupler spacing. (Figure 1)
2. Use a crane or forklift equipped with the proper approved coupler lifting device to move couplers into either the upper or lower tiers. Make sure you move the coupler into the rack as close as possible to a horizontal position. The coupler guides will make sure the coupler remains centered as it is pushed into the rack. (Figure 2)
3. Remove couplers from the rack using an approved coupler lifting fixture. Make sure the coupler is as close as possible to the horizontal position during removal.
