Abrasive flap discs will save you time and money by
eliminating the need to switch from a type 27 grinding wheel to
a resin fiber disc. Our type 29 flap disc with angled flaps will
allow you to put more abrasive grain to your work area while
providing you with superior stock removal and long life.

RRT-42362: Z3 XL Disc
Premium Zirconia Alumina grain with a poly/cotton heat treated backing. The poly/cotton combination provides low stretch and strength for the high Zirconia concentration that Z3 contains. Fastest grain removal in the marketplace for carbon based steels (26% more than the competition) and second best after CGW Z-Stainless discs on stainless steels, while offering excellent life.
Contaminate-free. For working on contoured and edge work. Flaps are angled at 8 degrees for greater surface contact and aggressive use. Best used at 15° - 25° angle. XL requires high output angle grinders for best results. Recommended for aggressive use and heavy duty applications.

Ceramic flap discs are designed to last longer than zirconia flap discs. |

RRT-42442: C3 Regular Disc
Polyester backing material for longer working life. Ceramic grain provides Contaminate-Free results; stainless steel won't rust. Flaps are compressed and compacted at a 4 degree for edge strength. XL requires high output angle grinders for best results.
For working on rough edge work. Flaps are compressed at a 4 degree angle for flap edge strengh. Best used at 5° - 20° angle. Suitable For edge grinding. Steel and stainless and other heat sensitive materials.
