Lightweight Car Blocks
 
Our lightweight and strong car blocks have a rotating cam locking device for extra safety. They lock so tightly to the rail that they are used daily on barges to prevent car movement. The RRT-3927 is specially designed as a crane block and is very popular in mills and wherever overhead cranes are used.

Car Blocks for railcars and Overhead Crane

A "Super Chock" for railcars and overhead cranes.

Fits all wheel sizes and available in two size ranges.

Do not use for impact-stopping.

  1. Use only on fully exposed conventional "T"-rail for railroad cars or overhead cranes.
  2. Use on correct rail side only.
  3. DO NOT USE to stop a moving car or crane. Car or crane must be at a complete reset before rail clamp can be used.
  4. Wedge must be pounded home tightly at all times. Check wedge tightness freqently.
